All training courses can be modified to suit the needs of extension services in form of Training of Trainers (ToT), or directly to the beneficiaries

4. Farming as a Business | Small-scale farmers and their groups, extension officers, community mobilizers (ToT) | 6 days | Furnish farmers with appropriate skills and business management tools to enable decision making based on business principles |
5. Gender | Members and managers of farmer organizations or small-scale entrepreneurs; Trainers | 3-4 hour session | Sensitize participants on the relevance of gender mainstreaming for their organization; enable the participants to identify gender mainstreaming bottlenecks within their organizations |
6. HIV/AIDS | Participants attending the main course being implemented at the time | 3-4 hour | Session Sensitize participants on HIV/AIDS issues in relation to main training module |
7. Human Rights in Agriculture | Farmers and farmer groups especially women groups | 1-3 days | Sensitize participants on the need to understand and establish appropriate institutions for human rights in the context of their daily lives |
8. Marketing | Small-scale farmers and their groups, extension officers, community mobilizers | 5 days | Participants learn which activities along the marketing chain they can realistically undertake in order to achieve profit and how to collaborate with other market players |
9.Organizational Development | Small-scale farmers groups and any other small-scale producer group, extension officers, community mobilizers | 3-5 days | Assist farmer groups to develop the capacities of their organizations to provide services to their members effectively and sustainably |
